In 1998, McGrath Properties acquired this 40,000 square foot office flex building plus two warehouses in the Longfellow neighborhood of Oakland. The property was originally the Boysen Paint Company manufacturing facility, and later the headquarters and manufacturing facility for One Color Communication.
McGrath Properties coordinated the cleanup of mineral spirits contamination and removed several underground tanks. The Regional Water Quality Control Board issued a letter of No Further Action in January 2018.
The site is now home to several local companies. We are currently entitling the site for up to 90 residential units, including live-work and below market rate units, while retaining much of the existing two-story brick structure and office space.
